A new multidisciplinary art work, Resting Place, commissioned by Trevow Helston, for the Old Chapel in Helston Cemetery.
An invitation for people to gather around the experience of rest.
A collaboration between choreographer Kyra Norman, composer Kath Buckler and artist Faye Dobinson.

When was the last time someone invited you to have a really good rest?
On Friday 27th June 2025, join us at Helston Old Chapel for Resting Place. An afternoon of sound, movement and drawing activities that invite a sense of rest, ease and spaciousness, in a beautiful space, in good company.
Make yourself comfortable, and listen to the sound of a cello filling this beautiful space.
Be guided through simple drawing prompts, and notice what you notice.
Be part of a gentle ripple of movement through the space, echoing the shifting sunlight as it passes through the building.
Or simply sit and observe: witnessing can be a powerful way to take part in a group activity.
