What to expect: Serious play. Dress for the weather. Social action. Adventures in screen space. Lively thinking, quiet body (sometimes the other way round). Somatic disco. Sensation, discussion. Dance as a means of discovery - of what, I'm not yet sure. Increasingly, singing.
Kyra Norman is a dancer and choreographer with 20+ years' experience.
Her work mostly takes place in galleries, public spaces and outdoors: on land, in water and through weather.
She works with embodiment, improvisation and experimental choreography to explore ideas and practices of movement, connection and place, through live performance, screen media, writing & participatory events.
Kyra lives on the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall, UK.
Since 2024, she collaborates with Faye Dobinson as ALL IN.
